Written more than two thousand years ago, the Tao Te Ching, or - The Book of the Way and Its Virtue, - is one of the true classics of the world of spiritual literature.

Traditionally attributed to the legendary - Old Master, (Lao Tzu), the Tao Te Ching's 81 precious versus teach the qualities of an enlightened sage or ideal ruler.

The purpose of Taoism is to create a life abundant in peace and joy through effortless living.
